Jean d’Arcel products are distributed in the UK by Femi Clinics Limited trading as Ethical Aesthetics, based in Derby.
Ethical Aesthetics is jointly owned and run by Barbara Simpson-Birks who has spent her entire working career within the beauty therapy industry.
Barbara has over 20 years experience in all facets of beauty treatments and therapies and founded the National Centre of Cosmetic Excellence.
Having been in this profession for over 20 years I have seen many changes within the beauty industry.
I was delighted then, when I was introduced to Barbara Simpson Birks. Here was someone on my wavelength, someone who shared my concerns about the beauty industry and more importantly, someone who shared an ambition to do something about it.
Here at Ethical Aesthetics we are constantly working towards putting the professionalism back into training and are not afraid to stand up to the constant lowering of training standards in the beauty industry. We are committed to giving you the support that you need to grow in experience, both as a professional therapist and a businessperson.
I consider myself very lucky to now be in a position where I can make a difference. I talk from someone who has been at the bottom of the ladder but has used these necessary experiences to move forward.
